Most Valuable Things
Master work. I asked my Facebook friends in 2010 what is the most valuable thing for them and why.
It varied from childhood toys, books, musical instruments to things found on the road while hitchhiking and just water. First three things (stories below) are followed by the picture of all of them and exhibition documentation.
Agni Sam
A clockwork toy. Her parents bought this toy more than 30 years ago. It is an old Soviet toy, which still works, you only need to set by turning the key.
It is the most valuable thing for Agni, because it reminds her of her childhood.
Bytnink Mangustas
The bag full of small things like bolts, mini ropes retrieved from the roadsides in Lithuania and abroad. Not connected to specific places, it is more about the loneliness and observing the surroundings.
Bytnik moved a lot and this bag always traveled with her. As Bytnik says – these are the only things she has which could never be replaced.
D.C.
Toy bear. Small, Soviet, plastic and blue. It lives in the bathroom and D. still bathes with it to this day.
